Scion’s Rowly Milhinch brought a showcase of his Rutherglen varietals to our first ever dinner in The Wine Loop at Yagiz in South Yarra late November.

Kickstarting the evening with his dry Muscat “Blonde” teamed with chef Murat Ovaz’s Oysters with tangelo vinaigrette, the conversation flowed over a wine line up including the signature Scion Durif Rosé, Viognier, Syrah and Durif and the Muscat Nouveau.

Guests were also treated to a sneak peek of some new wines hot off the bottling line!!

With insights ranging from sustainable practices, wearing many hats, wine shows, bee-keeping and family heritage, a fantastic evening of great wine and great conversation paired to a modern Turkish menu rounded out our 2018 calendar.
