Lunch with winemaker Mel Chester of Sutton Grange - Henry Sugar Sat 27th June lunch

Our in-person experiences in The Wine Loop are back! Dine with winemaker Mel Chester from Sutton Grange Winery in Central Victoria and just 14 guests at our first event for 2020 – lunch on Saturday 27th June.

Enjoy five wine tasting flights paired to a degustation - style menu, with Henry Sugar Chef Mike Baker also joining us to share insights about the wine and food pairings.

Having won Gourmet Traveller Wine’s 2015 Australian Young Winemaker of the Year at the age of 26 and with the Young Gun of Wine People's Choice 2018 award already to her name, life has been pretty busy so far for Mel. Like being at a dinner party with friends, this is designed to be an afternoon of wine chat and conversation and there will be no questions off the table for Mel or for Mike, who has plenty of experience in Spain's Michelin starred restaurants to share!

We'll have exclusive use of the restaurant for our event. Working closely with co-owner Dan and the team at Henry Sugar, each booking group will be accommodated at the appropriate social distance, with no more than 6 guests seated together in a booking group. And we’ll be designing the space to ensure that everyone can join in the conversation to the max.
