Jackson crafts only single vineyard, minimal intervention wines, and only in the Henty region of South Western Victoria. One of the coolest of the grape growing regions on the Australian mainland, Henty is gaining momentum for its elegant wines and winemaking potential.

There will be no questions off the table in this real-time tasting experience with Jackson paired to a 4-course menu by Lamaro’s owner and Executive Chef Geoff Lindsay, who will also join us on the Zoom call.

Jackson was named in the 2018 Top 50 Young Gun of Wine awards. With recent 95-point ratings from Halliday Wine Companion for his Jackson Brooke Wine Rosé and Syrah amongst others, he will share his vineyard-centric approach to winemaking. And some insights into how he can deliver acclaimed wines whilst not actually owning any vineyards!

With a sample selection of 8 wines delivered courtesy of Jackson to your home, just 14 guests will get to interact and chat like being at a dinner party with friends. And with a complete food package delivered to your door, all guests will hit the kitchen and sit down at the same time to enjoy Geoff’s easy to heat and serve menu.

Geoff Lindsay is one of a handful of chefs in Australia to be consistently awarded 2 or 3 Age Good Food Guide Chef's Hats over the past 20 years. With a career that has seen him at the helm of Melbourne's Stephanie's, Stella, Pearl and Dandelion, he was a long-time customer of Lamaro's before taking ownership with Paul Dimattina two years ago. Maintaining the integrity and heritage of this South Melbourne venue is their focus, whilst bringing in a new modern Australian menu.
