Our at home tasting and dining experience is back!

Taste wine and dine with a winemaker – online in your home!

If you are already missing your short-lived return to city or cellar door wine tastings or dining out with paired wines at Melbourne’s top restaurants – you can now book your seat at our virtual dinner table instead.

For lockdown 2.0 we are bringing back our virtual experience – something to look forward to in the weeks ahead and one which will help support small wine and hospitality businesses dealing with two rounds of COVID-19 related restrictions.

After our very brief return to real life events, delighted to be partnering with winemaker Stuart Dudine from Alkimi Wines, Yarra Valley and Henry Sugar Head Chef and co-owner Mike Baker for a live, at home dinner experience on Saturday 25th July.

With a sample selection of 10 Alkimi wines delivered courtesy of the winemaker to your home, just 14 guests will get to interact and chat real-time with Stuart via a Zoom video call– just like being at a dinner party with friends.

And with a complete food package delivered to your door, all guests will hit the kitchen and sit down at the same time to enjoy an easy to heat and serve 6 course meal. With the menu paired to both the wine and to special dietary requirements, chef Mike will also join the call at the start of the event to chat and answer questions about the simple food prep.

So whilst it’s a little different, hopefully you’ll find the experience an enjoyable antidote to another round of isolation! Join the experience with a friend, a group of friends or just yourself – either way you’ll find a winemaker and other wine-loving types ready for an evening of great wine, great food and great conversation.

Booking is open now – see here for details and background on Stuart and Mike…
