Two years in The Wine Loop!

In these crazy times it was nice to reflect last week on the second anniversary of events in The Wine Loop and another series of fantastic experiences with these amazing winemakers! Thank you all for sharing your knowledge, insights, experience and your fantastic wines with our guests over the last year – and especially for candidly sharing your highs and your lows.

A big thanks and shout out to:
Melanie Chester of Sutton Grange Winery Central Victoria
Geoff Thompson from Grounded Cru (Mclaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, Langhorne Creek)
Jackson Brooke of Jackson Brooke Wine Henty
John and Tim Duval of John Duval Wines Barossa
Adam Fiegert of Gibson Wines Barossa
Nav Singh of Domaine Simha, Derwent Valley Tasmania

None of these amazing experiences would be possible without the fantastic Chefs and venue teams so a big thank you too to:
Murat Ovaz at Yagiz
Gus Cadden at Park Street Pasta & Wine
Geoff Lindsay at Lamaro's Hotel
Zackary Leon at Bar Liberty
Todd Shaw Institut Polaire Hobart

An extra big shout out to Mel Chester for also being the first winemaker back in our new event year in early July with Mike Baker at the fabulous Henry Sugar

The fluctuating situation means it may be a little while before we’ll be back dining in the restaurants but we’ll keep the updates coming from all the winemakers you’ve met in The Wine Loop so far. We’ll be doing some re-planning for this year’s calendar and we’ll be back just as soon as we can - kicking off with a revised date to catch up with Stuart Dudine of Alkimi Wines at Yagiz so thanks to all of you who enquired!

In the meantime, watch out for the return of our virtual experience in The Wine Loop…more news coming soon.
