New virtual event: Matt Froude of Strathbogie Ranges’ Municipal Wines x Henry Sugar

Taste and dine with winemaker Matt– live and online in your home!

If like many of us you’ve had to park a much-anticipated visit to a cellar door or didn’t quite get chance to get dine out before the return to Melbourne lockdown – we’ll bring the experience to you instead.

Following a fantastic virtual dinner late last month, delighted to be teaming up again with Henry Sugar Chef Mike Baker to bring you a fantastic tasting and dining evening with Victorian winemaker Matt Froude of Strathbogie Ranges boutique label Municipal Wines.

With a sample selection of 10 Municipal wines delivered courtesy of the winemaker to your home, just 14 guests will get to interact and chat real-time with Matt via a Zoom video call– just like being at a dinner party with friends.

And with a complete food package delivered to your door, all guests will hit the kitchen and sit down at the same time to enjoy an easy to heat and serve 6 course meal. With the menu paired to both the wine and to special dietary requirements, chef Mike will also join the call at the start of the event to chat and answer questions about the simple food prep.

Join the experience with a friend, a group of friends or just yourself! Either way you’ll find a winemaker and other wine-loving types ready for great conversation – and be supporting two fantastic small wine and hospitality businesses dealing with the impact of bushfires and now two rounds of COVID-19 related restrictions.

Booking is open now – click here for details and some background on Matt and Mike…
