Talking Tempranillo with Municipal's Matt Froude in the virtual Wine Loop
Great in the glass and on the plate, Municipal’s Strathbogie Ranges Tempranillo also featured as a sticky cola and tempranillo glaze to a pork rib at Saturday’s virtual experience in The Wine Loop. Weather-wise, a perfect complement to a night where being stuck indoors was preferable for once!
A massive thank you to winemaker Matt Froude for a fantastic guided tour of his wine line up including his elegant Riesling, Rosé, Cabernets and Syrah alongside the Temps.
Big thanks also to Henry Sugar head chef Mike Baker for taking us through his fantastic heat and serve at home 5 course paired menu. And to our guests for the great wine chat and questions!
This is just one of the photos from the night from our hosts and our guests - jump on our Facebook or Instagram page for more – including some beautiful plating efforts showcasing Mike’s Nutmeg poached pear with shiraz, chocolate mousse, cardamom whipped cream and candied nibs.
Looking forward to welcoming Matt back tomorrow for a very special private lunch experience – an antidote to lockdown for a Melbourne work team.
